Resins of industrial products, It often contains excess solvents, monomers and oligomers produced by incomplete reactions.
1.According to the capacity of exchange column, the resin was weighed according to the mass ratio (cation: anion = 1:2) and put into open barrels separately. The resin was immersed in 98% medicinal alcohol for 5-10 cm and 24 hours to remove inclusions and reduce the ammonia flavor of the resin. The CYX-54 macroporous resin can be pretreated by soaking in water-soluble solvents such as methanol, ethanol and acetone. After soaking, it is necessary to remove the impurities such as foams and pigments with clear (hot) water.
2.When a single column is used, the anion column and the cation column are respectively pumped by a vacuum pump. When the mixed column is used, the immersion cation resin is pumped into the exchange column and then the anion resin is pumped. When extracting resin, water should be added to the open barrel and the resin should be stirred to make the resin flow, while stirring, the resin should be pumped to make the resin pile up tightly.
3.Open the distilled water valve at the top of the exchange column to wash the alcohol in the resin layer, and control the discharge valve at the bottom of the exchange column to wash slowly until there is no alcohol odor in the effluent. Concentrated treatment of alcohol solution.
Ion Exchange Operation of Glycerol (Medical Glycerol as an Example)
Raw material requirements:
Colour is less than 1.6 ml (FeCL3 standard colorimetric solution); esters are less than 2.0 mL (consumption of NaOH volume ml); glycerol content is more than 98.5%.
Glycerol exchange temperature:55-60℃(Glycerol has a high viscosity at room temperature, so the ion exchange of glycerol should be carried out under heating and heat preservation.) So before glycerol is put into the column, the resin is preheated by hot deionization water(60-70℃) flowing through the ion exchange column. When the temperature of the discharged water reaches 50℃, glycerol (65-70℃) is added.
The glycerol concentration exchanged at the beginning is low and stored separately for re-distillation and recovery. When the glycerol concentration reaches 98.5%, the color meets the standard, and then goes into the refined glycerol tank. At the same time, acrolein or other reducing substances should be analyzed. All technical specifications can be packaged after meeting the medicinal glycerin standard. When the resin does not meet the product specifications, it is indicated that the resin has failed and the resin should be regenerated. Glycerol should be leached back to the glycerol tank to be exchanged before regeneration. The glycerol in the resin is then washed out with deionized water (glycerol concentration in the washed water is less than 5%) and recovered, and then regenerated.
